Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas). The Baylor Neuroscience Center in Dallas' integrated team of neurologists, neurosurgeons and physiatrists treat various disorders affecting the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous system. The hospital's skull base center is one of the few places in Texas that offers comprehensive treatment for various complex lesions in and around the skull base. U.S. News and World Report ranked the hospital No. 43 in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16. The hospital is also recognized as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and received Healthgrades' Stroke Care Excellence Award in 2015. The American Nurses Credentialing Center designated the hospital as a Magnet facility for nursing excellence.
