The flagship hospital of UC Health treats a variety of orthopedic conditions, including lupus, osteoporosis, cartilage and ligament damage and arthritis. University of Colorado Hospital focuses on minimally invasive joint preservation and replacement, with a goal of elongating the life of a joint before needing to replace it. The hospital offers specialized care for patients with hemophilia as well as bloodless surgery for patients who are Jehovah's Witnesses. U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital as one of the best in the country for orthopedics in 2014-15. The hospital is also Magnet-accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and was named among Truven Health Analytics' Top 100 hospitals this year.
