Mission Hospital (Asheville, N.C.). Mission Hospital, Mission Health's 763-bed flagship medical center, provides healthcare and maternity services to women across 19 counties in North Carolina. The hospital, which earned Baby-Friendly USA's baby-friendly designation in 2015, includes a robust maternity department as well as an antepartum high-risk unit. CareChex named Mission Hospital among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for patient safety in women's health for 2018. The North Carolina Maternity Center granted Mission's Women's Health a Five-Star Breastfeeding-Friendly designation.
