Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines (Iowa). As the longest continually operating hospital in Des Moines, Mercy Medical Center has been serving Iowa women for more than a century. The regional hospital is home to the Frederick and Ann Katzmann Breast Center, where patients receive advanced surgical treatment options for breast cancer, including the minimally invasive hidden scar approach. The hospital also has a robust labor and delivery department, where specialists delivered around 4,600 newborns in 2017. Women's Choice Award selected Mercy Medical Center as one of America's Best Breast Centers in 2017.
