Memorial Medical Center (Modesto, Calif.). Memorial Medical Center features a family birthing center consisting of a labor and delivery unit, a mother/baby unit and an intermediate care nursery. Staff at the birthing center offer new mothers and their babies couplet care, which allows the pair to remain together throughout their hospital stay. The hospital also focuses on women's health through its breast cancer screening and treatment programs, including participation in four clinical trials as of December 2017. For its 2017-18 rankings, U.S. News & World Report placed Memorial Medical Center among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for gynecological services.
