Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (Dallas).
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children has provided pediatric orthopedic care for more than 90 years. The hospital, dedicated to children's orthopedic, neurodevelopmental, musculoskeletal and learning disorders, has more than 40,000 clinic visits each year. Texas Scottish Rite has five centers for excellence: scoliosis and spine, clubfoot and foot disorders, hand differences, hip disorders and limb length discrepancies. Now in its fourth edition, the hospital's physicians wrote "Tachdjian's Pediatric Orthopedics: From Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children," which serves as a standard reference guide for orthopedic surgeons worldwide. Also a pioneer in spine care, hospital researchers identified the first gene associated with idiopathic scoliosis in 2007.
