Children's National Health System is one of 20 organizations participating in the Children's Oncology Group, granting the health system access to National Cancer Institute-supported pediatric cancer research. Children's National partnered with Johns Hopkins Medicine to create the first dedicated pediatric radiation oncology program in D.C., which provides patients and families with a local option for a specialized pediatric radiation therapy.
