It sits on a 63-acre campus and features a 536-bed teaching hospital. For 2017, CareChex ranked Moses H. Cone as the No. 1 hospital in the state for neurological surgery and Healthgrades recognized the hospital with a Stroke Excellence Award and a Neurosciences Excellence Award. The hospital also features a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center and has been recognized for excellence in nursing with Magnet designation.
