A staffing platform that connects nurses to shifts in skilled nursing facilities and home health settings is expanding to offer hospital shifts. The platform, connectRN, has launched hospital staffing services in Tennessee and Florida, according to an April 11 news release.
Nurses have been able to select shifts at multiple hospitals in Nashville, Tenn., through the app. While connectRN is focused on hospitals in Florida and Tennessee for the initial rollout, it plans to expand hospital availability nationwide. The platform allows nurses to connect to shifts with no minimum scheduling requirements.
"We're thrilled to see the accessible work model and flexible scheduling options that have already made a strong impact in [skilled nursing facilities] and home health care settings now transfer to the hospital environment," said Tyler White, vice president of hospital services at connectRN.
