Scottsdale, Ariz., is the best city to find a job this year, according to an analysis by personal finance website WalletHub.
To determine the best cities for jobs in the U.S., Wallethub's analysts compared more than 180 U.S. cities, including the 150 most populated cities, across two dimensions — job market and socioeconomics — using 30 metrics. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for job seekers. Analysts then used each city's weighted average across all metrics to calculate the city's overall score.
