Viant has acquired Meraqi Medical, which is the fourth acquisition the contract device maker made in the last two years.
Viant, based in Irvine, Calif., said it plans to use the acquisition to help optimize customers' supply chains, expand product offerings and improve quality while managing costs.
Meraqi, a Fremont, Calif.-based medical device manufacturer, will supply Viant with minimally invasive surgical devices and open a West Coast Design and Development Hub.
