Premier, a healthcare purchasing organization based in Charlotte, N.C., expanded its partnership with the University of Texas System.
The UT System, based in Austin, signed a new agreement with Premier in April to integrate purchasing practices across the system's eight universities, six health institutions and administrative facilities.
The new agreement will implement PremierConnect, a system-wide supply chain analytics system to monitor and manage more than $4.5 billion in annual expenses for the UT System's health, administrative and academic institutions.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
