The key to supply chain efficiency: Aligning clinical and supply chain staff

Clinicians often spend a large amount of time completing burdensome supply chain tasks in the hospital, which shifts their attention away from what matters most — the patients.

Sixty-six percent of clinicians wish they could spend more time with patients instead of doing these tasks, according to a recent Cardinal Health survey. However, clinicians and supply chain staff often struggle to work together to improve processes, due to a common perception that supply staff do not understand clinical needs.

During a webinar hosted by Cardinal Health, Morgan Shradar, BSN, RN, manager of procedural services at Nebraska Medicine's Bellevue Medical Center, will share how the hospital fostered a successful collaboration between supply chain staff and clinicians to help drive efficiencies across the supply chain.

Tune in to learn how automation technology can help inform more data-driven supply chain decisions and strengthen the relationship between clinical and supply teams.

The webinar is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. CT on May 9. To register, click here.
