Medical supply distributor Concordance Healthcare Solutions said Rush University System for Health is piloting the healthcare industry's first supply chain cloud-based platform, which connects providers, suppliers and distributors.
Concordance launched the platform, called Surgence, in 2023. Chicago-based Rush was one of Concordance's first customers to use the service, the company said in a June 21 news release.
Rush has signed an agreement with Concordance to "continue toward their goal of reducing costs [and] improving efficiency," the release said.
