Research and advisory firm Gartner has released its 10th annual HealthCare Supply Chain Top 25 rankings for 2018, recognizing health systems or healthcare companies for their efforts to improve human life at sustainable costs.
"In order to be successful, supply chains must sport a specific skill set that consists of patient focus, collaboration and network visibility," said Stephen Meyer, senior director at Gartner. "The top supply chains in this year's ranking have embraced those skills and excelled in executing them."
Cleveland Clinic earned the top spot this year, climbing from No. 8 in 2017. The organization has been in the top 10 of the rankings for the last three years and has shown continuous efforts to improve through innovation.
