Wilmington, Del.-based Christiana Care System, the largest health system in the state, has adopted a new name: ChristianaCare.
In addition to the name change, the health system will use a new logo based on Delaware's state flower, the peach blossom.
"For the Love of Health" is the theme that accompanies ChristianaCare's new brand identity. The health system said the theme encourages everyone to reflect on the "why" behind the health-related choices they make every day.
"Our new look is a symbol of our promise to those we serve that we will support them throughout their lifelong health journey," Drew Fennell, chief communications and experience officer, said in a press release. "It's also a reflection of our values — love and excellence."
