Guidon Performance Solutions, a national hospital and healthcare efficiency firm, and the Institute for the Future, an independent, non-profit research organization, announced a free online gaming event designed to foster innovation in healthcare.
The 24-hour forecasting game, called "Future of the Hospital," will be hosted online at futureofhospitals.org. The game aims to gather innovative ideas for improving care in community hospitals from healthcare experts and ordinary citizens across the world.
Six judges with either MDs or PhDs will award players who make "extraordinary contributions," according to the release.
The game will begin Jan. 8.
