Mississippi is the most stressed state in America, and Minnesota is the least, according to an analysis released March 27 by personal finance website WalletHub.
To determine the most and least stressed states, WalletHub used 41 metrics to compare states across four dimensions: work-related stress, money-related stress, family-related stress, and health- and safety-related stress. The metrics ranged from average hours worked per week to the share of adults getting adequate sleep. More information about the methodology is available here.
