Wisconsin Medical Society to Launch End-of-Life Pilot Program

The Wisconsin Medical Society is launching a pilot program aimed at improving end-of-life care, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report.

Under the program, healthcare employees will be trained to help patients document their end-of-life healthcare decisions, which could lead to fewer deaths in hospital ICUs and increased use of hospice care. The pilot will be rolled out in March and will include five health systems.
