There are health screenings for nearly every potential condition under the sun — blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, cancer, bone density and so on. That said, adults of different age groups and gender don't always require the same health screenings, or screenings at the same intervals.
To make it easier for both clinicians and patients to keep track of how often different health screenings are recommended, the Texas A&M Health Science Center examined resources from the National Institutes of Health National Library of Medicine and created the infographic below.
