A new agreement between the US Department of Veterans Affairs and Crawford Healthcare has made the international advanced wound and skin care company an approved supplier within the VA's Federal Supply Schedule.
The FSS program supports the healthcare acquisition needs of the VA, as well as other government agencies. As an FSS-approved supplied firm, Crawford's wound and skin care products will be available to U.S. veterans across the country, roughly 25 percent of whom have diabetes, a condition known to affect wound healing.
"It's testament to the quality of our offering that Crawford Healthcare advanced wound care dressings will now be included as products available for U.S. military veterans," said Crawford CEO Richard Anderson. "The United States is the largest wound care market in the world, estimated to be worth £25 billion per year in medical costs, so it's an essential part of our long-term growth strategy."
