The University of California's Center for Health Quality and Innovation has awarded six UC facilities nine grants totaling $3.4 million for projects aimed at better understanding and alleviating common obstacles to health quality, according to a UCLA news release.
The projects include the study of frequent falls, excess radiation from scans, hospital-acquired conditions and care coordination challenges.
