More than half of healthcare organizations use their website to promote their health coaching program, according to the fourth annual Health Coaching survey released by Healthcare Intelligence Network.
Health coaching is an important tool in population health management that helps boost self-management of disease and helps reduce risk across the health continuum.
The survey includes responses from 154 healthcare organizations.
The top six ways in which healthcare organizations promote health coaching programs, according to the survey, are:
• Company website — 58.4 percent reported using this
• Coach calls — 55.8 percent reported using this
• Mailings — 48.1 percent reported using this
• Newsletter — 48.1 percent reported using this
• Word-of-mouth — 46.8 percent reported using this
• Healthcare providers — 45.5 percent reported using this
