Study: Newark Beth Israel Cut CAUTI Rate by More Than Half

Newark (N.J.) Beth Israel Medical Center reduced the rate of catheter-associated urinary tract infections by 58 percent after implementing interdisciplinary team rounds, according to a study in the American Journal of Medical Quality.

The hospital implemented daily interdisciplinary team rounds in June 2010.
