Study: CHG Bath Lowers Children's Risk of Bloodstream Infections

Daily bathing of critically ill children in chlorhexidine gluconate reduces incidence of bacteremia compared with standard bathing practices, according to a study in The Lancet reported by Science Daily.

Researchers studied 10 pediatric intensive care units at five U.S. hospitals.
