The Johns Hopkins Medicine Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality in Baltimore has invited Sioux Falls (S.D.) Specialty Hospital to participate in a study to improve patient experience, according to an Argus Leader report.
The study, funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, will identify and share patient experience improvement best practices. Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital was asked to participate because of its patient-centered model. In September, Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital and other hospitals will present and be recognized for their work on patient experience, according to the report.
