Harvard Business Review's management tip for Dec. 6, 2013: "Simplicity is the key to both managing people and building products."
According to the tip, superior team leaders do three things:
- Create a clear team mission.
- Set group goals.
- Allow team members autonomy in day-to-day matters.
Setting clear goals allows team members to more easily make daily individual decisions that will support long-term team objectives, according to the tip.
