PULSE of NY, a patient safety education and advocacy group, will host three classes this summer to train people to become family-centered patient advocates.
The classes will cover such topics as communication skills, patient safety history, ways to reduce readmissions and methods to prevent injuries from falls, infections, medication errors and other adverse events.
All three classes will take place in August.
