ProPublica, a New York-based investigative reporting group, has released updated information on the quality of dialysis centers across the country, according to a St. Cloud Times report.
The quality reports cover more than 5,000 dialysis centers and their performance from 2007 to 2010. ProPublica collected the data from the federal government under the Freedom of Information Act. The reports include national averages and site-specific quality measures, including annual observed death rates among dialysis patients.
