Preventative health visits in danger of extinction

80% of Americans are delaying or forgoing preventative healthcare, according to a recent survey from medical scheduling company ZocDoc.

ZocDoc President and co-founder Oliver Kharraz was recently featured on CNBC's "Squwak Box," where he featured the main points of ZocDoc's recent study.

Here are a few interesting takeaways form the study:
- 93% of millennials are not scheduling preventative doctor's visits
- Almost 50% of respondents canceled an appointment because of work
- 43% said it is easier to diagnose their own condition, often with the help of the internet

Kharraz attributed these statistics to the inability of patient's to access doctor's.
