Patient Safety Tool: Reporting Data While Protecting Patient Privacy

The Patient Safety Organization Privacy Protection Center offers tools for reporting data to patient safety organizations while assuring patient information remains confidential.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality developed the PSOPPC in support of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005, which provides legal and confidentiality protections to healthcare providers who voluntarily submit patient safety information to patient safety organizations.
