"Preventing Hospital-Acquired Venous Thromboembolism: A Guide for Effective Quality Improvement" is based on quality improvement initiatives at University of California, San Diego Medical Center and Emory University Hospitals in Atlanta, and aims to help quality improvement leaders in other healthcare facilities prevent hospital-acquired venous thromboembolism.
