A free checklist for disinfecting dialysis stations is available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Dialysis Bloodstream Infection Prevention Collaborative.
The dialysis station routine disinfection checklist was recently developed and piloted at the St. Albans satellite clinic affiliated with Burlington, Vt.-based Fletcher Allen Health Care.
