The National Quality Forum's Measure Applications Partnership has submitted input on quality performance measures to HHS for the third year in a row.
MAP includes stakeholders from all parts of the healthcare process, including consumers, purchasers, health plans, providers, suppliers, certification entities, communities, states and the federal government. The recommendations it has released cover measures for use in more than 20 federal programs, according to a news release.

The report promotes alignment of measures, reducing duplicative data collection and enhancing data and information transparency, according to the release.
Additional NQF and MAP goals for future pre-rulemaking recommendations including identifying best-of-class measures on patient-centric care and exploring measure adjustment for socioeconomic status, according to the release.
