Michael Kent McLeod, MD, has started a two-year term as chief of medical staff at E.W. Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Mich.
Dr. McLeod was elected by his colleagues to serve as the 2024-2025 chief of staff two years ago, according to a Feb. 22 news release. He previously served as the medical director of surgical quality and vice-chair of surgery at E.W. Sparrow Hospital, which is part of Sparrow Health.
Dr. McLeod also serves as a professor of surgery at Michigan State University. He succeeds LaKeeya Tucker, DO, as chief of medical staff at the hospital.
Sparrow is part of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based University of Michigan Health.
