Charlottesville, Va.-based Martha Jefferson Hospital, of Sentara Healthcare, and Baton Rouge, La.-based Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center have been recognized for their commitments to healthcare-associated infection reduction and education in the fourth annual Kimberly-Clark HAI WATCHDOG – Clinician's Choice Awards.
Martha Jefferson received first place for its efforts in reducing catheter-associated urinary tract infections, and Our Lady of the Lake received an honorable mention for its work in eliminating central line-associated bloodstream infections, according to a news release.
