The Leapfrog Group, a patient safety organization, has posted confidential patient safety letter grades for hospitals to review, according to an AHA News Now report.
The Leapfrog Group plans to release the updated hospital safety scores to the public later this month. Hospitals can review their updated scores and grades with the usernames and passwords they received in October at www.leapfroggroup.org/data-validation/hospital_data_review.
Critical access hospitals, Maryland hospitals, specialty hospitals, mental health hospitals, pediatric hospitals and federal hospitals are excluded from the grades and scores.
