Hemodialysis Patients in Colorado With Permanent Central Lines Had Highest Infection Rates

Of the 664 vascular access infections that occurred at Colorado dialysis treatment centers from April 2010-March 2011, 404 were local access infections and 260 were access-related bloodstream infections, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
