Dr. Peter Pronovost to deliver keynote at 2015 Press Ganey Conference

Press Ganey has announced patient safety leader Peter J. Pronovost, MD, PhD, will deliver the keynote address at the organization's 2015 National Client Conference in Orlando, Fla., on November 11.

The conference will act as a forum for healthcare leaders to explore strategies to reduce patient suffering and improve the quality, safety and cost of care. It is expected to draw more than 2,500 healthcare professionals.

"Dr. Pronovost's innovations in devising life-saving clinical practices have dramatically improved care delivery around the world," said Press Ganey CEO Patrick T. Ryan. "Given Press Ganey's shared mission with our clients to improve the patient experience, Dr. Pronovost's perspectives will be particularly meaningful to our conference attendees."

Dr. Pronovost is director of the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He is also a practicing anesthesiology, critical care specialist physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital and researcher and professor at Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health and School of Nursing.
