CRNA average hourly wage & salary for all 50 states — Montana tops the list at $243k

On average, certified registered nurse anesthetists in the U.S. make $160,250 annually, but CRNAs in some states make much more than the mean annual wage, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

For instance, CRNAs in Montana earn the highest average salary of CRNAs in the U.S. at $243,550. New Hampshire came in second at $217,560 followed by Wyoming, Wisconsin and California rounding out the top five.

Here are the average hourly wage and salary for nurse practitioners in all 50 states, based on the BLS data gathered in May 2015, listed in alphabetical order.

The states' Median annual household income data is based on the U.S. Census Bureau 2016 Current Population Survey, Annual Social and Economic Supplements Data Tables displayed in 2015 dollars and reported by The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation.
