CMS is reporting a small subset of 2016 Physician Quality Reporting System measures on group profile pages as star ratings, and adding ACO data to its physician compare website.
CMS' physician compare site allows patients and caregivers to compare quality data on provider performance for group and individual clinicians. The profiles may contain a subset of 2016 PQRS measures reported as star measures, Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems for PQRS survey measures, and non-PQRS Qualified Clinical Data Registry measures.
For the first time this year, CMS publicly reported a small segment of 2016 PQRS group-level measures on group profiles as star ratings. In addition, CMS will add 2016 percent performance rates for the Shared Savings Program, Pioneer and Next Generation ACOs to the physician profiles. The physician compare website will include information about clinicians' ACO affiliations and link to the ACO in the profile.
