The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has unveiled a new website with resources for infection prevention in long-term care settings.
The website is designed for use in nursing homes and assisted living and includes segments for clinical staff, infection prevention coordinators and facility residents.

Facilities can also use the website to access CDC's National Healthcare Safety Network as well as the tools developed by CDC and the Advancing Excellence in Nursing Homes Campaign.
