A Clostridium difficile infection stewardship initiative improved staff's adherence to guidelines when managing the infection, according to a study in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.
Cleveland VA Medical Center, which includes a 215-bed hospital and a 265-bed long-term care facility, initiated a CDI stewardship program in March 2012.
