Advocate Health Care Partners With GE Healthcare to Reduce Radiation Dose

Oak Brook, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care and GE Healthcare announced a joint effort to reduce CT radiation dose.

The organizations plan to reduce radiation dose without compromising imaging quality using GE's campaign called GE Blueprint for low dose. Under the Advocate-based GE Blueprint, the health system will participate in the American College of Radiology Dose Index Registry and install the GE DoseWatch software on all its diagnostic and radiation therapy CT scanners to manage dose data.
