According to the article, video recordings can:
1.    Increase hand hygiene compliance among clinical staff.
2.    Improve the quality of procedures when staff know the procedure is being recorded.
3.    Serve as unbiased evidence for morbidity and mortality conferences.
4.    Allow for easier peer reviews to improve quality.
5.    Provide coaching opportunities for clinical staff.
6.    Decrease waste through increased accountability among staff.
7.    Enhance a patient's chart and aid future care.
8.    Increase medical transparency and communication with patients.
