200 Miami University of Ohio students hit with norovirus

A norovirus outbreak has sickened 200 students at Miami University of Ohio in Oxford, according to Dayton Daily News.

The school has taken efforts to promote hygiene awareness, improve institutional cleaning and increase the availability of hand sanitizers.

This is the latest university to be hit by the virus. The virus also hit some 100 students at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and about 200 students from Ursinus College of Collegeville, Pa. earlier this month. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea and nausea. Most recover in 24 to 72 hours.
