Health officials have confirmed two additional cases of mumps at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, according to local NBC affiliate WCNC.
These two new instances bring the total number of confirmed cases at UNC Charlotte to three with one additional probable case.
The mumps have made a bit of a resurgence on college campuses in recent months with cases reported at Boston University, Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., SUNY Buffalo in New York, University of Kentucky in Lexington and at the campuses of three universities in Indiana.
