Two people have contracted the measles in Ocean County, N.J., after an international traveler brought the virus into the country in October, according to NJ.com.
The two individuals started developing symptoms after coming into contact with a person who recently travelled to Israel and was in Ocean County between Oct.13-21.
State health officials are working with the Ocean County Health Department to identify other potential places infected people could have visited.
About 2,000 people received the mumps, measles, rubella vaccine in response to the outbreak.
The New Jersey Department of Health asks non-immunized children attending schools with students testing positive for measles to stay home for 21 days from the last known exposure to the virus.
