2 Legionnaires' cases confirmed at New York City hospital

The state health department is investigating two cases of Legionnaires' disease at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in New York City after a water safety test found Legionella bacteria, according to WABC-TV, an ABC News affiliate.

The cases occurred in November and December. The hospital implemented water restrictions at the facility.

The state health department is working with the hospital to prevent more cases of Legionnaires' disease, officials said.
