A hospice company donated $400,000 to Jacksonville, N.C.-based Onslow Memorial Hospital to support hospice services.
The funds, donated by Jacksonville-based Onslow Caregivers, will establish The Onslow Caregivers Endowment for Hospice Services, according to a Nov. 12 system news release.
"This marks an historic milestone within our organization as this endowed gift will create ongoing resources, year after year after year, to help the people of [Onslow] [C]ounty," Terry Jarman, president of the Onslow Caregivers board, said in the news release.
